Supervised Internship In Social Service: Challenges and Strategies for the Articulation Between Professional Education and Practice

RESUMO: Este artigo é produto da exposição do Módulo VI, “O Estágio Supervisionado em Serviço Social”, do Curso de Atualização “As Diretrizes Curriculares e o Projeto de Formação Profissional de Serviço Social (ABEPSS Itinerante)”. Nele, contextualiza-se a conjuntura sócio--histórica e a política da formação em Serviço Social para problematizar as tensões presentes no estágio supervisionado, no que se refere aos desafios e às estratégias para a articulação entre formação e exercício profissional. Assim, objetiva-se refletir sobre os aspectos que balizam o estágio supervisionado em Serviço Social, referentes à indissociabilidade entre a formação e o exercício profissional. O produto deste módulo situa-se no campo dos estudos sobre o estágio supervisionado. Alinha-se com o horizonte social e ético-político do projeto profissional, no sentido de socialização e de apropriação coletiva de um saber que, alicerçado nas dimensões da competência profissional (ético-política, teórico-metodológica e técnico-operativa) faça sentido e diferença e tenha consequência no cotidiano da formação e do trabalho profissional.

ABSTRACT: This article is a product of the exposure of Module VI, “Supervised Internship in Social Service”, from the Update Course “The Curricular Guidelines and the Professional Formation Project for Social Service (ABEPSS Itinerant)”. It contextualizes social- historical conjuncture and the policy of Social Service formation to problematize the tensions of supervised internship related to the challenges and strategies to the articulation between professional education and practice. In this sense, it is intended to reflect on the aspects that set the supervised internship in Social Service, related to the indivisibility between professional formation and practice. The product from the referred module figures among the field of Supervised Internship studies. It is aligned with the professional project social and ethical-political horizon, in the meaning of socialization and collective appropriation of a knowledge

that, supported by professional skills dimensions (ethical-political, theoretical-methodological and technical-operative) makes sense and difference and have consequences in the routine of educational

formation and professional exercise.
